How to get there

To get to Philae Island, you will need to travel to the city of Aswan in southern Egypt. Aswan is well-connected to other cities in Egypt, and you can reach it by plane, train, or bus.

Once you arrive in Aswan, you can take a taxi or a felucca (a traditional Egyptian sailboat) to the island. If you prefer to visit independently, you can take a public ferry or a motorboat from the Aswan Corniche to the island. The boat ride takes approximately 15-20 minutes, and you can purchase tickets at the pier.
